Golden Hour Acupuncture & Wellness

Christina Goodison is a Licensed Acupuncturist & Chinese Herbologist. She obtained her Master’s Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM) in San Diego, CA.

She has been in practice since 2011. Her passions are working with infertility, pain management, migraines, sports injuries and digestive disorders. Christina maintained a private practice for 8 years in San Diego before relocating my family to the Boise area.

Pacific College of Oriental Medicine is renowned for its comprehensive and rigorous program which has a heavy emphasis on western medicine. This has allowed Christina to easily understand a patient’s needs as they often come in with a western diagnosis.

Acupuncture/Traditional Chinese Medicine is growing more popular each day, and it’s exciting to be on the forefront of these changes in healthcare. Many of Christina’s patients come to acupuncture after having “tried everything”, and the conditions tend to be chronic and/or difficult to treat with Western medicine. Christina feels so much gratification when her patients have dramatic results after living with their conditions for so long. She is passionate about partnering with her patients to live with decreased stress and pain and increased joy and purpose.

Years ago Christina worked in an integrative setting with MDs, DOs, chiropractors and nutritionists but has found that she deeply appreciates that in our practice she is able to spend far more one on one time with her patients. Christina has also worked part time as an adjunct professor at Ashford University in the Department of Complementary and Alternative Health.
